HIGH SCHOOL ONLY

JV BOYS Soccer early release at 2:15

Attention class of 2022 seniors! We are looking for nominations for a great books quote that sums up your class and year. This quotation would go on our school walls and the graduation programs, so it should represent our virtues well. Please get your entries to Mrs. Stephens by Friday January 28 by email or put a copy of the quotation and the source in her box. The class will vote on the finalist entries in the first week of February so stay tuned.

JUNIORS: Monday, January 24th, there is a mandatory meeting during Lyceum in the Theater, to go over the PSAT Reports you received.  Please make sure you are on time for this meeting! 

SOPHMORES: Tuesday, January 25th, there is a mandatory meeting during Lyceum in the Theater, to go over the PSAT Reports you received.  Please make sure you are on time for this meeting!  

Winter Formal announcement! The Dance will be held on Saturday Jan. 29th This year’s theme is “Super Nova”.  PreSale tickets will be $20 and $25 at the door. Tickets go on sale Monday Jan. 24th during Lunch. Look around campus for posters and flyers for more information or you can always visit our social media. Any middle school boys interested in playing basketball this spring, we will be having an interest meeting Tuesday 1/25 during lyceum in the gym. Please be on time.

MS LUNCH CHANGES

Middle school students will still sit by grade but will no longer be required to sit with their sections. In addition, there will now be three trips to the field:  11:35 (which is new), 11:40, and 11:50. Remember, you need to go with a teacher to the field. You may not go without a teacher escort. Also, you need to finish your lunch before going to the field. Once you are on the field, you need to stay until the end of Lyceum. Please ask one of the lunch or Lyceum duty teachers if you have any questions.

MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL

Any athletes interested participating in track and field (for both HS and MS) there will be a short informational meeting today in the gym during lyceum.

MS will be at 11:45am and HS will be at 12:45pm, if you are unable to attend, please see Mr. Jones before the meeting.

Group Counseling has returned for Second Semester! Today’s topic is Dealing with CHANGE. What can I control? What is outside of my control and how can I manage it? Group is completely voluntary and students should meet at the counseling office next to the cafeteria and we’ll walk over to the butterfly garden together. 

Flyers are posted around campus! Any questions please see Miss G in the school counseling office.

Recent events  

Congratulation to one of our freshman swimmers who was named to Arizona Republic’s All-State Swim Team for the 2021-2022 season.  Julia was chosen as one of only 12 girls from all high school divisions!  Good job, Julia! Great season!! Way to represent the Titans!

Seniors, tomorrow, Tuesday 1/11 is the first Senior Breakfast of 2022! Wear your senior class shirts if you are able and come to the gym between 7:30 – 8 am for a breakfast treat from the Senior class parents. We would love to have Senior Teachers join as well. See you there!

Juniors

Your next College 101 will be Tuesday, 1/11 during Lyceum in the Theater.  Please be on time! 

Creative Wordshop – We will not meet this week.  Expect to have our first meeting of the semester next week.

It’s that time of the month! Chandler Preparatory Academy Theatre Course Drama Class Enrichment Program Project is meeting again on Mondays to get ready for our production later this semester. Make sure to attend and bring your scripts. As always if you have questions you can feel free to ask them towards the ever kind and lovely and very approachable Mr. Blanco. He is by no means angry or scary.

Social Committee!! Let us meet so we can talk about how we can be sociable as a group or a committee one might say. We will be meeting after school in room 305 on Tuesday. Bring your ideas as we plan the formal dance that happens in winter… cause winter is coming…. If you have any further questions please feel free to Ask Ms. DelSante she loves answering all your questions.

HIGH SCHOOL AND MIDDLE SCHOOL

Women’s Choir will be cancelled tomorrow morning. Thank you all for a wonderful semester. Get a little extra rest before finals, and we will see you in the spring!

Wednesday is a CPA Spirit Day! We’ll kick off finals showing our Titan pride!

Spirit wear will be on sale Tuesday morning before school.

Spirit wear or athletic gear on top, uniform bottoms is the approved look.

ARE YOU FEELING A LITTLE STRESSED OR ANXIOUS with finals this week? Our Titan animals are here to support you! TODAY and tomorrow Roma will be in the library from 7:30 until 8:10, if you would like to visit with her and Mrs. Myers. During both Middle School and High School Lyceum today and tomorrow, Roma will be in the Forum.

The Life Science room will also be open before school today and tomorrow from 7:30 to 8:10 and again after school from 3:15 until 4:00. You are welcome to come in and visit our bunnies, corn snake, rat, and tarantula. We are setting this time aside in the Life Science room for ALL grades EXCEPT 7th grade, since they get to be in there every day.
