We are having a prescreening of the movie on December 15 at 2 pm following Finals. Due to construction at the Harkins at Chandler Mall, the movie has been moved to Harkins at San Tan Village at Williams Field Rd and the 202. Movie time is still at 2 pm on Friday 12/15 after finals.

You are invited to a Lyceum Recital, this Friday, December 8th, during both middle school and high school Lyceum in the theater. Five middle school students have put together a mix of classics and traditional holiday favorites for you. And during HS Lyceum, come hear Elena Boyd and friends – you won’t want to miss it!

The 3rd Annual Titan Wrestling Invitational will be taking place on Friday, December 8th and Saturday, December 9th at Coronado High School (7501 E Virginia Ave, Scottsdale, AZ 85257). We will be hosting 25 teams from all over Arizona for two days of wrestling excitement!
We are in need of many adult and student volunteers from our CPA community to make this event happen successfully. Throughout both days of the competition, we need assistance with tasks such as set-up & breakdown, scorekeeping, timekeeping, and hospitality. Please find a schedule of shifts below……………
* Friday, Dec 8 – 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM (score/timekeeping, hospitality)
* Friday, Dec 8 – 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM (score/timekeeping, shift may end sooner)

SENIORS: Your detailed outline is due to your HL teacher today. Please submit two hard copies, as one is for your advisor. The detailed outline should include your thesis statement, textual evidence, and should be arranged by topic rather than text. You will need to meet with your advisor again before Winter Break commences, to prepare for your rough draft.

Field closed tomorrow during Lunch and Lyceum due to the memorial service related to the Archway student that passed away last week. High School students will be allowed to use their Lunch/Lyceum period as they wish but will not be allowed to go to the field during that time unless they are in 9th grade.

This past weekend, the CPA Speech and Debate team competed in a tournament at Arcadia High School. Lauren C took 5th place in Congressional Debate and Ali C took 2nd place in Congressional Debate, 2nd in Prose and won 1st place and a $100 dollar scholarship in Original Oratory. Great job for our Talking Titans!
