MIDDLE SCHOOL LUNCH DUTY THIS WEEK:   It is your responsibility to watch the time and report to Mrs. Goodwin at 11:35 to be assigned your duty (11:20 on Wednesday). All of the lunch duty crew stays until everyone is done. You will still be able to go to the field at 11:50, if you wish. Thank you for helping!

MS FIELD DURING LYCEUM:  If you want to go to the field at 11:40 with the first group, you need to be lined up near the gate at that time. Once the gate is closed, you will need to wait until the second trip to the field at 11:50. Middle school students must be escorted by a teacher to go to the field and back. Food is not allowed on the field….finish your lunch and snack before you line up. Thank you!

MIDDLE SCHOOL LUNCH SEATING ON THE RAMADA: We have rearranged some of the tables and benches on the ramada to make it easier for you to sit with your friends during lunch. Just as in the cafeteria, you are expected to remain seated during the lunch period until going to the field or until the bell rings signaling lunch is over. You can, of course, get up to pick up your lunch, use the restroom, get a drink, throw away your trash, or if you are serving lunch duty. Other than that, please remember to stay seated and enjoy a relaxing lunch socializing with your friends and classmates

MIDDLE SCHOOL LUNCH CHANGES: Please be aware that the first 15 minutes of lunch is ONLY for students picking up their hot lunch. There are now two lines, and you need to get in line for your lunch as soon as you arrive in the cafeteria. The last 10 minutes or so, the lunch counter will be open to purchase a snack or a drink (only one per student). The lunch counter closes at 11:40 (five minutes before the bell rings). These changes are to help make sure all students get their lunch in a timely manner and also to keep the line moving once the counter opens for snacks or drinks. Please ask one of the lunch duty teachers if you are confused or have questions. Thank you for helping us make things go smoothly!

ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR THURSDAY 9/23/2021

By Announcements, latest announcement

HIGH SCHOOL ONLY

Attention Orchestra students! The High School Orchestra rehearsal will be cancelled for tomorrow, 9-24. Email Mrs. Ayala if you have any questions at natalieayalamusic@gmail.com.

Attention high school students, are you looking for opportunities to volunteer?  Do you want to help our community and build friendships with others who share the same goals?  Then come to the cafeteria on Thursday, Sept. 23rd at 3:20pm to hear about the Volunteer Enrichment Course Service Club and what they have to offer. Look for some flyers around the school for more info or if you have any questions, please contact Sra. Kendrick.  See you there!

SENIORS we need your senior quotes for the yearbook.  They must be received no later than October 8.  Must be from curricular text, no more than 15 words.  Please use the link to submit:  https://forms.gle/hvh7HqRDUEgtuguh6  Form link will also be sent via email.

High school students, please keep online food ordering limited to emergency situations only. It should not be a habit to purchase and receive food deliveries at lunch, as it poses a distraction to students when they should be focused on classes and it is inconvenient for the front office staff. If you have any questions about this or need an exception to make an order, please contact Mrs. Stephens.
