MENTORING MEETINGS ARE TOMORROW, Tuesday, Oct. 8, from 3:15 to 3:45. Please remind your parents. Also, mentoring meetings for new middle school students are mandatory, so let your coaches or teachers (if you have tutoring) know you will be late. If questions, please see Ms. Caporali or Mr. Allen.

UNLOCK CLUB:  Sign-ups are now on the Life Science window for the pumpkin decorating on Thursday, Oct. 24, 3:30 to 5:00 in the cafeteria. Since this is the second day back from Fall break, you must sign up by THIS Friday, Oct. 11, in order to participate. Please give Mrs. Goodwin $5 to help with the cost of the pumpkins, decorating supplies, and snacks. Key Club will also be participating in this fun event.

Students are expected to be present in their classrooms and ready to begin class work prior to the late bell. A reminder about 1st hour tardies, from The Family Handbook: “The school disapproves of the accumulation of unexcused late arrivals to school, irrespective of the circumstances. Persistent first-period tardiness is highly disruptive of instruction and undermines student morale. On the third occasion (fourth for Middle School) that a student has an unexcused first-period tardy in a quarter, a detention will be issued to the student by the first–period teacher. For each subsequent unexcused first period tardy in the quarter, another detention will be issued. When a student has received four detentions for tardiness in a quarter, then he or she may receive an in-school suspension for a duration determined by the administration.”

Archery and Bowyery – the winners of our first arrow decorating challenge of the year are Bella Callanan (1st) and Sean Williams (2nd).  Do you want to be as cool as Bella and Sean? Well, you probably can’t be, but if you want to try pick up an Archery and Bowyery Club form from the magazine rack near the front desk.

CAFETERIA WILL BE CLOSED TOMORROW, TUESDAY, from 3:15 to 3:45 pm for Mentoring meetings. Please exit through the front doors tomorrow. Thank you!

Seeking CPA Volunteers for the ACC Medieval Faire on Saturday, November 2nd from 11 am to 3 pm. Volunteers will receive volunteer credit and will not need a wristband to participate when they volunteer at least one hour. Sign up online: and check in at the Information Booth the day of the faire to ensure you get credit for your hours!  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Kendrick.

Please check lost and found, this week. The lost and found is located next to the vending machines in the cafeteria and on the bookshelf across from the front desk. Please claim items by Friday morning, October 11th. All unclaimed items will be donated to Goodwill over Fall Break.

Check the bookshelf across from the front desk for any items your parents may have dropped off for you during the day, such as: lunches; water bottles; glasses; assignments; school supplies; and athletic bags. Please take a moment between classes, on HL break, and before lunch to look for your forgotten items. It is your responsibility to check the bookshelf. You will not be called out of class to pick-up items.

The front desk does not stock cough drops. You are welcome to bring your own from home to take as needed.
