Seniors:  The well coveted blue tape ball has grown tremendously over the course of the year. We will be having a Senior Only “People’s Choice” award where only seniors can vote for their absolute favorite piece and best peer artist. Winner will receive the tape ball signed by their entire class with long lasting bragging rights for many years to come. Look for the growing tape ball in either Art or Drama within the next month. Voting will take place next week in the Forum from Wed-Fri while 1st and 2nd Semester Art class work is on display.

Come sail away on a desert cruise, setting sail April 13th! This year’s Prom will have a yacht theme, and we look forward to having all Juniors and Seniors aboard! Tickets go on sale at lunch during the week leading up to Prom.  Prom tickets will go on sale April 8th and will be $50.00. Get yours early and don’t miss the boat!

Parking Permits: All student drivers must have a parking permit to park on campus. If you do not have a school issued permit on your dash, you will get a warning. If you continue to park without a permit, your car may get booted/towed. Please see the front desk with any questions about the parking permit application process. Find all information re: applications/payments online at chandlerprep.greatheartsacademies.org

HIGH SCHOOL AND MIDDLE SCHOOL

Due to AZ Merit Testing, the cafeteria will be closed every morning from 7:45a.m.-11:15a.m., from today until April 23rd. Morning entrance into the school must be through the front doors, only. Thank you!

You are invited!  Fine Arts Night – TONIGHT – 6:00-8:00 PM.  Featuring 6, 7, 8, 12th grade art show, a scene performed by the drama club, “Battle of the Bards” poetry recitation competition, and jazz.  See you there!

Fine Arts Night is HERE! We need your help for set up and tear down. There are Student Sign Up sheets on the door of room 214. 3:30-4:30pm and/or 8-9pm are available. We also call for student ambassadors and leaders to attend and help with the flow of the events going on throughout the school this evening. Look for sign-up sheets coming soon. Merci! Voting during the event for “Best in Show” and “Most Creative” Senior piece will take place during the show. We invite you to come out and cast your vote for your personal favorite senior paintings!

Looking for in house service hours? We have you covered. Hang around after school TODAY to help the art teachers put all the art boards out in the halls. Additionally, helping tear down at 8pm will be crucial. Sign up for students on room 215, sign up for faculty help in the office.

Missing a lunch box, expensive water bottle, pencil bag, or clothing item? Please check the lost and found- and the locker rooms! – every week, as all unclaimed items will be donated to Goodwill, every weekend. The lost and found is not your locker! Take a few minutes to check the bookshelf across from the front desk, and the book shelf in the cafeteria by the vending machines. Thank you!

If you’ve lost your school-issued planner/agenda, the front desk has them on sale for $3.00.

A friendly reminder to keep track of your school-issued textbooks: The lost and found is not your locker. Please keep your books in your possession. All found books will be returned to teachers, and you may be docked participation points for lack of materials.
