HIGH SCHOOL ONLY

The field is not open today during High School Lyceum. All High School students if not tutoring will remain in the cafeteria, Ramada, or gym during Lyceum.

“Attention CPA Singers! Audition Sign-ups are posted on the door of room 306 for Schola Cantorum tryouts. This is CPA’s highest level choir that frequently gets to perform here and at festivals throughout the state. This coming year will even include a trip to a choral festival in California. It is an incredible part of CPA life to be involved with. Please sign up for a slot and ask Dr. Carpenter any questions that you may have.”

Attention new and returning mentors. Please remember to attend mentor training TODAY during lunch and lyceum in the library. Please reach out to Ms. Gallant or Mr. Allen if you have any questions.

Picturesque Prom is just around the corner on May 21st! It will be at the Irish Cultural Center from 7-11. All junior and seniors are invited to purchase tickets the week before for $30 presale, or $35 at the door. There will be many photo opportunities to record the night and help cherish its memories forever!

Our Prom Tickets don’t jiggle jiggle, they fold

They’ll be on sale in the middle middle, of lunch

Get them quick cause we pulling up at a castle

Do it sooner so it ain’t no hassle

We aren’t being strict to stricture

Next week is Senior spirit week! Which means seniors and teachers can dress up out of uniform to celebrate our seniors! 

Monday is senior citizen day 

Tuesday is anything but a water bottle day (this day, uniforms should be worn) 

Wednesday is Favorite Greek God/Goddess

Thursday is Favorite Literary Character day

Friday is Dressing up as your new school’s mascot or in their spirit wear. 

The best dressed senior by student and faculty voting will win a gift card. For any questions, see the spirit week guidelines or ask Sydney Bruns or Mrs. Stephens about it.

MIDDLE SCHOOL ONLY

Attention all 6th graders! Join your class in celebrating the end of the year at KTR on Friday, May 20th from 5 -7 pm!!  Cost is 10 dollars. You MUST reserve by TODAY MAY 13th.  Please look out for the flyers or check the CPA newsletter on how to sign up.

Hey middle school boys, are you guys looking for a chance to compete in a fun basketball tournament at the end of the school year? A former Great Hearts student is inviting you to participate in the first annual 3v3 Basketball Tournament to win NBA and NFL jerseys, autographs and much more! Cost for registration will be $15.00 per team. The tournament will be hosted at CPA on May 28th and 29th. To see more details and sign up, check out the flyers posted around the school and sign up in the cafeteria, forum, or athletic office. last day to sign up is May 25th! 

MS football will have a Spring camp during the week of May 16th from 330 to 530.

HIGH SCHOOL AND MIDDLE SCHOOL

For all 8th through 11th grade students who are interested in joining or returning to the CPA high school swim team in the fall, come join us for an interest meeting at lyceum on Monday, May 16th in room 301. You will have the opportunity to hear from coaches and captains about what its like to be an aquatic titan, and get some logistical info for next year. Reach out to Ms. Gallant if you have any questions!

Any girls interested in playing volleyball next year (8th-11th grade), come to a meeting in room 310 after school TODAY at 330 to get info on summer camps.

We are once again holding a PAPER TOWEL DRIVE to support the important work of our friends at Liberty Wildlife. Please bring your roll(s) of paper towels to the Life Science room OR the labeled bin in the forum any day this week or next. If you shop at Costco, their paper towels work the best to line the bins that hold baby birds, however, Any and All paper towels are useful and much appreciated.

Group Counseling for Fourth Quarter!

Ms. G will have open office hours during Friday lyceum for the remainder of the school year for both middle & high school Lyceum. Students are welcome to come in with any questions or topics they’d like to discuss.
