PLEASE DON’T FORGET TO BRING A ROLL OF PAPER TOWELS to support the wonderful work being done by Liberty Wildlife to protect our Arizona native species, particularly birds. There is a black bin in the forum for your donations. Multiple rolls are also great, and Costco paper towels are the best for lining the dozens of bins that contain baby birds or injured birds at the Liberty Wildlife facility. This SCHOOL-WIDE DRIVE will go through Friday. In past years we have collected 300-400 rolls of paper towels to show our appreciation to Liberty Wildlife. Seventh graders, bring your rolls to the Life Science room, so your teacher can give you credit.

We will now say the Pledge of Allegiance together: “I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

TODAY IS THE 51st ANNUAL WORLDWIDE EARTH DAY, with the theme “Restore our Planet.” Each year 8 million tons of plastic enters the ocean, which is one dump truck per minute. Each week you eat or drink the equivalent of one credit card of plastic. Visit freetheocean.com each day to answer a fun trivia question and remove one piece of plastic every time you do. Another idea is to visit Liberty Wildlife this Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm to see amazing birds of prey and other Arizona wildlife while enjoying special Earth Day games and activities. See the fliers around school for more information or talk to Mrs. Goodwin.

PLEASE BRING A ROLL OF PAPER TOWELS to school starting today and continuing through next week to support the wonderful work being done by Liberty Wildlife to protect our Arizona native species, particularly birds. There is a black bin in the forum for your donations. Multiple rolls are also great, and Costco paper towels are the best for lining the dozens of bins that contain baby birds or injured birds at the Liberty Wildlife facility.

Lost and Found Day: Today at the front desk during lunch/lyceum, please take a moment to check the rolling cart for items you may be missing.

We will now say the Pledge of Allegiance together: “I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
