Pianists, singers, strings and drums…. What do they all have in common? They are the honored CPA student performances at this year’s State Solo & Ensemble Festival that we will perform for YOU on Monday during Lyceum in the theater. Take your Lyceum this Monday to be in the audience for something beautiful, exciting, and supportive of your classmates. All are welcome.
Attention Key Club members, there are new and exciting opportunities on the bulletin board in the cafeteria. Please sign up and keep looking for new events even if you cannot make it to the meetings on Mondays. We need volunteers for everything!! If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Kendrick
A reminder to student drivers about parking on campus: You may not park in spots in front of the school or any spots blocked with stanchions/parking cones. Even if you are running late. There are 64 assigned spots on campus. Students are expected to park in their assigned spots. Students will place the parking card (a yellow card given to them when they got their parking assignment) in the part of the car that faces the driveway (i.e. if you back into spaces the card should be in the front window. If you pull-in to a spot, the card should be on the back window). This will allow for a quick check of parking in the correct spots. Students who were not assigned a spot are welcome to park in the unnumbered and uncovered parking spots near the gas station, parallel to Warner road, and in the unnumbered/uncovered spots across from the Archway playground. These spots are first come, first serve.

A word on tardiness: Tardiness interrupts learning for everyone in the classroom and is disrespectful to teachers. Students who are tardy miss the very important beginning of class. Good attendance and punctuality are skills for success in life; that is why we emphasize both. – Be prompt to all classes (in your seat when the bell rings). Five minutes passing time is adequate if you plan your time carefully. Students who are tardy to class will be issued a consequence.
Remember, lost and found is now every Tuesday and Thursday at the front desk during lunch/lyceum. Unclaimed items are donated to Goodwill every weekend.
Check the bookshelf next to the front desk for any items your parents may have dropped off for you during the day, such as: lunches; water bottles; glasses; assignments; school supplies. Please take a moment between classes, on HL break, and before lunch to look for your forgotten items. It is your responsibility to check the bookshelf. You will not be called out of class to pick-up items.
