HIGH SCHOOL AND MIDDLE SCHOOL
All students going to the field at Lyceum must exit with a teacher from the ramada, only, at 11:45a.m. (MS) and 12:45p.m. (HS). You may not exit through the front doors after those times and must choose another Lyceum destination if you miss going with the group. Thank you for your cooperation.
Archery and Bowyery — Plan to meet on Tuesday and Thursday this week. Starting next week, we will meet less frequently because of thesis defenses and other meetings. Check the announcements every day, and let your parents know that they can check the announcements online at chandlerpreppso.org.
TOMORROW, March 26, is “ERRANDS FOR ETHAN.” For the sixth consecutive year, UNlock Club encourages Chandler Prep students, faculty, and families to perform acts of kindness tomorrow in memory of Ethan Ellsworth, a local little boy who passed away March 26, 2011. If you or your family would like to participate, please take a card or two at the front desk to pass along to the person you are doing your act of kindness for. There are fliers next to the cards at the front desk that explain more about who Ethan was and the mission of the “Errands for Ethan” program. See Mrs. Goodwin with questions or visit www.errandsforethan.org.
LIBERTY WILDLIFE is coming next Monday, April 1, for our annual live “birds of prey” presentation. Starting tomorrow, there will be a box in the forum to collect rolls of paper towels for our friends who care for injured and orphaned Arizona wildlife. ALL students and faculty are invited to donate a roll (or more) of paper towels to support the amazing work they do!
Missing a lunch box, expensive water bottle, pencil bag, or clothing item? Please check the lost and found- and the locker rooms! – every week, as all unclaimed items will be donated to Goodwill, every weekend. The lost and found is not your locker! Take a few minutes to check the bookshelf across from the front desk, and the book shelf in the cafeteria by the vending machines. Thank you!
If you’ve lost your school-issued planner/agenda, the front desk has them on sale for $3.00.
A friendly reminder to keep track of your school-issued textbooks: The lost and found is not your locker. Please keep your books in your possession. All found books will be returned to teachers, and you may be docked participation points for lack of materials. o[
